A quality of players should affect point distribution as well imho.
Total ammount of rating from the people who take part in it. On another hand penalty for finishing in the last 50% should stay the same. If comp lasts 60 mins it should bring more points than competition which lasts only 30 minutes.In my opinion it should give twice as much points, but it is definetly a subject of negotiation. It should be taken in considiration for sure. IMHO in addition to these 2 factors should be added another as well: Lowest i have got was -12(minus 12).Highest was 45.Ģ.Ammount of ppl who finished the comp.If u got 1st place out of 50ppl u get x ammount of points, if u are 1 st out of 150 u get x+y ammount of points. So my information here is based on my personal expirience and data collected from some (few) other players. Unfortunetly it seems that game developers haven't explained how their system works when it distributes points for participating in competition.
I also want to say sorry for my english in advance(it is not my native language, but i will try my best). Here i wanna raise the disscussion about the distribution of competition points (NON amateur competitions). This particular topic is made to disscuss a bit different thing though. Lately I have thought a lot about FP competitions and things which are connected to them.I came up with some problems and suggestions, which in my humble opinion can help to improve this area of game and make it more attractive and interesting to the newcomers and veterans.
